This commercial tree clearance job was carried out for a national broadband company.
The brand new high-speed fibre was being installed and connected throughout this housing estate and there were several trees interfering with the existing telegraph poles. These trees unfortunately needed some pruning so the new lines could be installed. As you can see from the photos, there was quite a web of telephone lines running through the tree, and clearing them required some careful cutting. The telegraph pole itself was actually of some assistance in aiding our climber to cut limbs without having to always be in the tree itself.
Utility work isn’t always the prettiest, and unfortunately the necessity of maintaining these utility systems often comes at the expense of the tree’s aesthetics. As professionals, all we can do in such circumstances is ensure that all cuts are made to British Standards, and do our best to leave the tree’s we work on in as natural a state as possible.
